Families of missing Baloch persons are marching a long distance from Turbat to Quetta. This march comes after a sit-in protest and aims to draw attention to the serious issues of enforced disappearances and the alleged killing of Balaach Mola Bakhsh.
The families have clear demands, asking for those responsible for the alleged killing of Balaach Mola Bakhsh to be held accountable.
An FIR is begin launched against CTD officials involved in extra judicial killing of Balaach Mola Bakhsh on the order of session court Turbat.
The protestors of the long March reached the Naal tehsil of Khuzdar District in form of a rally. According to the participants of the long March, mobile phone signals have been blocked in the area at the moment, and the communication system is severely affected.
The protest is a strong call for the government to act quickly and decisively to address the concerns of families with missing loved ones. The families are determined to keep going, despite these challenges, to demand justice.
Family members of Mr. Bakhsh, who has become a symbol of this cause, say the protestors plan to sit in the Red Zone area of Quetta. They intend to stay there until officials from the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) are arrested.
Moreover, the families are asking for the creation of a special team to investigate independently into the actions of the CTD. This investigation is seen as an important step towards finding out the truth about what happened and holding the right people responsible.
As the families continue their long walk, their determination highlights the urgency of dealing with the problems they’re facing. The march from Turbat to Quetta is a strong sign of the families’ commitment to finding out the truth and getting justice for their missing loved ones.
