Teenage Victim of Forced Child Marriage Returned to Parents in Karachi
A teenage Christian girl, who was reportedly forced into a child marriage and subjected to forced conversion, has been returned to her parents by a judicial magistrate.
The custody of the 13-year-old girl was granted to her father after he filed an application seeking her return. The girl was allegedly abducted by a man named Noman from her home in Saeedullah Goth last year. Noman is accused of enticing the girl and unlawfully marrying her.
The victim, who is a student in the eighth grade and confirmed to be 13 years old according to official documents, was recovered by the Investigating Officer Jameel Ahmed and presented in court. The complainant’s lawyer requested that the girl be handed over to her father, who is her legal guardian.
Private School Principal Arrested for Allegedly Sexually Assaulting 15-Year-Old Student and Forcing Abortion
The head of a private school in Khanewal was arrested on Tuesday by Chab Kalan police for allegedly sexually assaulting a 15-year-old student. The suspect had been blackmailing her, threatening to share a video of her on social media.
The girl’s father filed a First Information Report (FIR) under section 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code. The family discovered her traumatic experience when her health suddenly deteriorated, and she was taken to Mian Channu THQ Hospital. A female doctor at the hospital confirmed her pregnancy.
The survivor also revealed that the suspect forcefully administered medication to induce an abortion.
Bodies of 3 Women Found in Closed House in Multan
Three women’s bodies were discovered in a locked house in Multan’s Mumtazabad area. The victims include two sisters and a daughter.
The house was found locked from the outside, and the bodies are estimated to be three to four days old. The police are investigating whether the incident was a murder or suicide.
The bodies have been taken to the hospital for post-mortem analysis.
