Two Policemen Martyred in Militant Attacks on Census Teams in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Two policemen were killed and four others were injured in attacks on census teams in Tank and Lakki Marwat districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Militants opened fire on a police van in Kot-Azam, Tank, killing one policeman and injuring four others. 

In a separate attack, a Frontier Reserve Police constable was martyred in Pirwala, Lakki Marwat. Meanwhile, security forces killed Abdul Rasheed, a suspected member of the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), in a joint operation in Rohri area of Tehsil Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan.

Man killed, son injured in an honour-related attack

Father killed, son critically injured in honor-based attack in Rawalpindi’s Chauntra area. The incident occurred after a video surfaced on social media showing a suspected love affair between the son and the attackers’ sister.
The attackers kidnapped the victims at gunpoint and shot them in a deserted area. The father, Inayat, died while being transported to the hospital, while the son, Shujaat, remains in critical condition.
The accused believed that Aftab Hussain had an affair with their sister, as shown in the viral video.
