Madsrassa teacher sexually abuses student
A madrassa teacher in the Waris Khan area of Rawalpindi allegedly sexually abused his student. Police have registered an FIR but the accused has not been arrested so far. According to the FIR, the accused called the victim’s brother and asked him to take him back home from the madrassa. When he reached the madrassa, his brother was unable to walk properly. Confirmed
Bhong temple attackers submit heavy fines
Rahim Yar Khan’s district administration has collected more than Rs 1 million from the accused who attacked the temple in Bhong and handed it over to the temple committee. Committee fails to appoint new NCHR Chairperson
The Parliamentary Committee mandated to appoint a Chairperson of the National Commission for Human Rights failed to elect the head of the Commission in its recent camera session.
