The Youth General Assembly (YGA), a youth-led initiative focused on the development of political skills and public awareness among students and young leaders, has announced its flagship annual project – a conference titled Beyond The Youth (BTY) at its 27th Parliamentary Session.
Students from schools and universities across Punjab presented arguments and resolutions for the ongoing humanitarian and economic crisis brought in by disastrous rains and floods from June to August this year.
As a collective, the YGA is focused on providing young people with the opportunity to make their voices heard, and nurture their aptitude and talents for public participation and representation. As such, the assembly has launched a slew of projects and initiatives, among which is its annual Parliamentary Sessions.
YGA leadership also announced the launch of its yearly youth conference BTY, tentatively slated for early December this year. The conference will bring together Pakistan’s prominent minds, policy experts and political thinkers to impart skills and knowledge to the country’s aspiring youth leadership.
After its successful launch in 2019, BTY went digital in 2020 and 2021 due to pandemic restrictions and concerns, garnering over 100,000 views last year.
