Man murders sister to entrap relative
A man and his father in Sanghar have been arrested for allegedly killing his 10-year-old sister to trap his father-in-law in the murder case. Malook Sheikh and his father Qasim Sheikh confessed to police they slit the girl’s throat to entrap Malook’s father-in-law Azam Shaikh over a domestic dispute.
Minister visits sit-in for Shia missing persons
Sindh Information Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has assured families of Shia missing persons of support in the recovery of their loved ones. He visited protesters holding a sit-in at Quaid-i-Azam mausoleum in Karachi, telling them the government was trying to resolve the issue of missing persons.
2 girls, boy raped in Okara
Two girls and a boy have been raped in separate cases of sexual violence in Okara district. A 14-year-old girl was raped in village Baghiana Shah Baig, while another was raped in Sukh Chain locality. A 12-year-old boy was sexually molested in village Rohaila Tajeka.
