A Bannu man gunned down a female relative and her alleged paramour after finding them together in their home for 'honour' in their home. A man raped his 14-year-old sister-in-law while two armed men raped a lone teen girl in her home in two separate incidents of sexual assault in Dijkot.

Four women murdered for ‘honour’ in Nankana Sahib

One Shakil Akram, a resident of Bismillah Colony in Shahkot, Nankana Sahib district, slaughtered four female relatives for ‘honour’ on Saturday, January 30.

Shakil reportedly harboured suspicions over the ‘characters’ of his wife Shabbana, his daughter Faiza and his sister-in-law Zunaira. On the day of the incident, the suspect quarrelled with his family. His elderly mother, Kaneez Fatima intervened. In a fit of rage, Shakil opened fire, killing his Kaneeza, Shabbana, Faiza and Zunaira on the spot and then promptly fleeing.

Shahkot police are on the hunt for the escaped culprit, meanwhile the deceased have been sent to a morgue for a postmortem examination.

Man kills woman, paramour for ‘honour’ in Bannu

A man gunned down a female relative and her alleged paramour for ‘honour’ after finding them together in their home in the Kotka Sher Khan Sara Darga area of Bannu district on Sunday. Police have registered a case against the absconded suspect, meanwhile the bodies of the deceased have been shifted to the district headquarters (DHQ) hospital in Bannu City for an autopsy.

Two teen girls raped in separate incidents in Dijkot

On Sunday, two teen girls were reportedly raped in separate incidents in Dijkot. In the first incident, one Nadeem sexually assaulted his 14-year-old sister-in-law after finding her alone in her house in Hajveri Town near Sargodha Road. A case under section 376 (punishment for rape) of the Pakistan Penal Code has been lodged with the Sargodha Road police, and raids are being conducted to arrest the absconded suspect.

In the second incident, two men, Fahad and Shehzad, broke into one Usman’s house in Johar Colony in the Matopura area of Millat Town. Finding the owner’s teen daughter alone, the two men gang-raped her at gunpoint. Millat Town police have booked both suspects, who have so far managed to evade arrest, under section 376 of the PPC.
