Charred body of minor: Neighbour held for murder
A neighbor has confessed to raping and murdering a minor girl whose charred body was found in Peshawar’s Badabher area on November 19. The suspect told a magistrate that he had strangled the girl after assault in his house and later torched her body in a graveyard. The suspect fled the area but was arrested in Khyber district. An angry mob later torched his house in Badabher.
SNC to begin in primary classes
The Single National Curriculum (SNC) will be implemented in primary classes in the coming academic session across the country. Shafqat Mahmood, Federal Education Minister, said provincial governments have been requested to get the books published as per their requirements.
Man shoots alleged murderer of son
A man has been arrested after critically wounding an undertrial prisoner at a court in Karachi for avenging his son’s murder. Kifayatullah opened fire on Khushdil Khan accused in 2016 murder case of his son Ahsan Ali. Khushdil Khan is said to be in critical condition at a hospital.
