As part of efforts to highlight enforced disappearances in Sindh, a caravan of the family members of missing persons has arrived in Hyderabad. The caravan, organized by Sindh Sabah, will march to Rawalpindi after beginning its journey from Karachi 16 days ago.

20 Pak fishermen return home

A group of 20 Pakistani fishermen have been quarantined in Lahore after crossing the Wagah border upon their release in India. The fishermen, who belong to Karachi, Thatha, Badin and Sujawal, will spend 14 days in quarantine before being escorted to Karachi city.

SC refuses to suspend acquittals in Daniel Pearl case

The Supreme Court has refused to suspend Sindh High Court verdict that acquitted four convicts in the Daniel Pearl murder case. The court was hearing appeals filed by the Sindh government and the parents of Daniel Pearl against the SHC judgment. The hearing was adjourned till first week of December.
