CM Sindh diagnosed with COVID

Sindh Chief Minister, Murad Ali Shah has self-isolated himself after testing positive for COVID with mild symptoms. In another statement, he reported that Sindh has recorded 942 fresh cases of the virus together with 9 deaths over the past 24 hours.

Schools to remain open: Murad Raas

Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas has said no decision was made on school closures amid the second wave in the meeting of provincial education ministers in Islamabad. In a tweet, he said the situation of the second wave would be further discussed in the next meeting on November 23, adding that he favoured smart lockdowns rather than complete closure of all educational institutes.

KP man re-infected with COVID

According to the experts of Khyber Medical University for the first time in the country, a patient from KP has been re-infected amid the second wave. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 380 people tested positive for the virus as two more people died in the past 24 hours.

‘Only 35% consider COVID a threat’

In a new survey conducted it has been found out that 92 percent of the people across the country are aware of COVID. However, only 35 percent of them consider it to be a danger for themselves and their families.
