Swabi teenager kills young girl after attempted assault
A 17-year-old neighbor in Swabi’s Saleem Khan village brutally murdered a six-year-old girl from a poor family with a dagger.
The girl’s resistance to the assault provoked the teenager, who lured her to a common guest house and attacked her. The culprit has been arrested and confessed to the crime, revealing that he is also a relative of the victim. The incident is currently under investigation.
Father murders daughter and youth in the name of honour
A man in Juma Mahar village, Khanpur Mahar taluka, Shikarpur district, killed his daughter, Hafeeza Mahar, and a youth named Sachal Mahar on Monday.
According to local police, Abdul Hakim Mahar committed the murders in the name of honour. Police arrived at the village promptly after the incident, but the suspect had already escaped.
Teenage Girl Allegedly Kidnapped and Gang-Raped Near Mahmood Kot
A 17-year-old girl was reportedly kidnapped and subjected to a gang rape near Mahmood Kot in Kot Addu, located about 35km from the city. The girl went to her grandmother’s house but did not return home.
After a search, she was found tied up in a sugarcane field. According to her statement to the police, she was taken to a house by two men on her way back home, where they allegedly raped her before throwing her into the field. The girl has been sent to RHC Qasba Gujarat for medical treatment.
The Mehmood Kot police have registered a case against a suspect named ‘Af’ and his accomplice under sections 365 B and 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code. Police are currently conducting raids to apprehend the suspects.
