22 institutions closed for SOPs violation
The NCOC has announced that 22 educational institutions have been closed for violation of SOPs and disease prevalence in the last 24 hours in the country. 16 institutions were closed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, one in Islamabad and five in AJK: NCOC
Screening for COVID in KP schools
Health officials have begun screening schools in 11 districts of KP for Covid_19 infections.
The screening will gauge the level of prevalence of the infection in students, teachers, and other staff members.
Fresh cases in Balochistan, AJK, GB
Balochistan confirmed 108 new Covid-19 cases during the past 24 hours, taking the tally to 13,798.
AJK’s tally rose to 2,451 after 10 more new cases while GB saw 48 new virus infections with the total number of cases hit 2,451.
