Quarantine Camp

200 unregistered people fled from the quarantine camp at the Pak-Afghan border in Chaman on Monday: district administration.

Both adults and children were allegedly not taken care of despite being seriously ill and went on a hunger strike for 2 days.

Hospitals Capacity

As number of patients crosses 100,000 in Pakistan the health authorities have warned of running out of facilities soon.

Citizens Unwilling For Tests

Random samples of 400 people in the four union councils of Islamabad were collected on Monday but many were not willing to get tested.

Free testing being offered with the help of the National Institute of health. 667 houses declared as quarantine centers while 12 streets were sealed.

SOPs Breached

2 more policemen die while 6 SHOs in Lahore, 5 officials of IHC & 4 Rwp policemen tested positive on Monday. Police is trying to control SOPs violations without PPEs.

Sindh Transport & Mass Transit Department is considering suspension of public transport in the province due to major violations of protective SOPs.

Health Workers’ Protest

A 2 hour strike was observed by health workers on the call of the Grand Health Alliance Sindh in hospitals of Mirpurkhas, Naushahro and Hyderabad Feroze on Monday.

Protesting workers demanded PPEs and additional allowance for duties and announced to continue the strike if demands were not fulfilled.
