KP Lock-down

Doctors working on COVID-19 patients advise extending lock-down till April 25 in KP to stop the spread of the pandemic 2,215 out of the 3,687 tests were negative, while 855 results are awaited. Hospitals’ staff put on ‘red alert’ due to a rise in patients.

Stateless People

Sindh govt not giving rations to people without CNIC including Biharis, Bengalis, Afghans, and Rohingyas in some parts of Khi. Most of these stateless people settled in Karachi after 1971 as migrants and were not able to get registered.

Police Injured

SHO Pirabad Sharafat Khan along with Hayat Gul and Abdul Salam were attacked by crowd for restricting Juma congregations in Karachi. The Judicial magistrate took notice and directed concerned officials to submit reports of inquiry of the manhandling of a female officer.
