10 Terrorists Eliminated in KP’s Tank District: ISPR

Security forces eliminated ten terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in KP’s Tank district on Tuesday, according to ISPR. The operation, prompted by reports of militant presence in Pezu, resulted in a fierce firefight, leading to the demise of the terrorists who were actively engaged in various attacks and criminal activities.

Additionally, a significant stockpile of weapons and explosives was seized during the mission. Pakistan’s security forces remain committed to eradicating terrorism in the nation, amidst a surge in terrorist activities in recent months, particularly in KP and Balochistan.

 

Civilian Casualties Double in Pakistan Terror Attacks in September

Civilian casualties from terror attacks in Pakistan doubled in September, with 136 killed and 144 injured in 65 militant incidents, according to an Islamabad think tank report. Although attacks decreased by 34% compared to August, fatalities increased by 21%, and injuries rose by 66%.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa was the most targeted region, while Balochistan saw a significant rise in deaths due to a single attack in Mastung. Civilians accounted for 62% of those killed, and the Pakistan Army conducted 37 operations resulting in 47 suspected militants killed and 46 arrested. The government pledged to combat terrorism vigorously.

 

Hafiz Hamdullah’s Driver Succumbs to Injuries Days After Bomb Blast

JUI-F leader Hafiz Hamdullah’s driver, Inayatullah, who was wounded in a motorcycle bomb attack last month, has sadly passed away in a Karachi hospital. Hamdullah himself was injured in the same blast in Mastung’s Pringabad area.

Inayatullah was initially treated at Civil Hospital Quetta, but his condition worsened, prompting Balochistan Caretaker Chief Minister Ali Mardan Domki to arrange for his transfer to Karachi.
