Stepfather Fatally Assaults Minor Stepson in Karachi

Stepfather kills minor stepson, inflicting fatal injuries in Karachi’s Khokhrapar area. The incident occurred on Thursday night at a residence in Madinah Colony, falling under the jurisdiction of Khokhrapar police station. Promptly responding to the report, law enforcement and rescue personnel arrived at the scene and transferred the body to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. The deceased has been identified as two-and-a-half-year-old Abdul Hadi.

The Station House Officer, Hikmatullah, disclosed that the stepfather, Aslam, brutally assaulted the child, resulting in his untimely demise. After committing the act, the perpetrator managed to flee the scene.

It was revealed that Aslam had married the victim’s mother a year ago, and they have a nine-month-old daughter together. As of now, no official complaint has been lodged regarding this distressing incident.

 

Violent Retaliation by In-Laws after Alleged Rape in Muzaffargarh

In Muzaffargarh, a man was allegedly caught raping his sister-in-law, resulting in a violent response from the victim’s father-in-law and two other family members. The suspect’s genital organ was severed.

The father-in-law and his son have been arrested by the city police. The incident occurred in Tiba Karimabad. The suspect, who is from Layyah, has been admitted to the Muzaffargarh DHQ Hospital in critical condition.

The police have registered a case against three individuals, two of whom have been apprehended. Efforts are underway to arrest the third suspect. Additionally, the hospitalised suspect has also been charged with rape.

 

Newborn’s Body Found in Hospital Restroom in Attock

In Pindi Gheb, a deceased newborn was discovered in the restroom of THQ Hospital. Authorities have filed a First Information Report (FIR) and are currently conducting an investigation.

Niaz Ali Khan, employed as a sanitary worker at the hospital, informed the police that while performing his regular restroom cleaning duties, he encountered the lifeless body. Subsequently, the deceased infant was transferred to DHQ Hospital Attock for a post-mortem examination.


EPI worker commits suicide due to unpaid salary

An employee of the expanded programme on immunisation (EPI) in Hangu took his own life on Thursday because he hadn’t received his salary for a year. The deceased, Attaur Rehman, used a pistol to end his life, according to the police.

Dr. Mohabat Khan, the local head of EPI, stated that there are 40 technicians employed in Hangu and Kohat under the integrated health programme. These employees have been working for 42 months without receiving their salaries. Dr. Khan immediately traveled to Peshawar to inform the director about the incident and discuss the situation to secure the jobs of the remaining staff members.
