Young Girl Abducted, Raped, and Found Unconscious on Road in Lahore’s Kahna
In Lahore’s Kahna area, a young girl was reportedly taken by unknown men from a bus stop and sexually assaulted before being abandoned on an empty road, leaving her unconscious.
According to the girl’s father, she had gone to a market at Chungi Amer Sidhu for shopping and was waiting for a bus on her way back when the incident occurred. The perpetrators remain unidentified, and the police have registered a case and initiated an investigation based on the father’s complaint.
Father and Nephew Slit Throats of Daughter and Friend in the Name of Honor
On Monday, in Bhutra village near Sehwan, a man named Wali Mohammad Rind, aided by his nephew Munir Rind, committed a heinous act in the name of honor by cutting the throats of his 18-year-old daughter Naumani and a 24-year-old man named Mir Mohammad Rind.
The incident was reported by Sehwan SHO Zahid Hussain Khatyal, who stated that the suspect and his nephew surrendered themselves to the police along with the weapons used in the crime. The bodies were taken into custody by the police and transferred to the Syed Abdullah Shah Institute of Medical Sciences for post-mortem examination.
Family of Five Arrested for Torturing Two Maids in Faisalabad
Five family members have been arrested for the torture of two maids, who were recovered in a raid by Child Protection and Welfare bureau and police. The two girls, aged 11 and 8, had been employed for two months and were badly beaten over minor issues with sticks.
They were admitted to the hospital with multiple marks of injuries. The suspects have been charged under several sections of the Pakistan Penal Code and The Punjab Destitute and Neglected Children Act 2004. One suspect is still at large, and the police are conducting raids to arrest them.
Man kills wife and injures mother-in-law in alleged ‘honour’ killing in Muzaffargarh
A woman was shot and killed by her husband in an alleged “honour” killing, and her mother was injured in the attack. The incident took place in Basti Mandoren near Meharpur Chowk, approximately 20 kilometers from the city. Local sources report that Mohammed Yamin fired the shots following a domestic dispute.
The Muzaffargarh rescue control room was alerted to the murder, and emergency services attended the scene where Zahra Bibi was confirmed dead, and her mother was taken to Muzaffargarh DHQ Hospital. Police have registered a case against Yamin and have taken the body for autopsy. Yamin reportedly believed that his wife had loose morals, which motivated the killing.
