Police Solve Blind Murder Case of Woman Found Dead in Wheat Field
The police have solved a blind murder case of a woman who was found dead in a wheat field on Dec 16 in Mauza Dusehra. Jhang. Investigation SP Asghar Ali announced at a press conference that the victim was identified as Sardaran Bibi, 70, of Shah Jewna, who was buried in the field.
The investigation led to the confession of Zafar Abbas of Mouza Panjgraeen, who is the brother of the victim’s son-in-law. Abbas admitted to killing her after stealing her golden ornaments.
He lured her to his house on the pretext of attending a wedding, where he committed the crime.
Infant Found Dead Wrapped in Cloth in Lahore’s Kahna Kacha Village
An infant’s corpse was discovered among garbage in Kahna Kacha village on Wednesday.
The police were informed by a passerby who noticed the wrapped body.
