Sindh cabinet approves reserved seats for transgender community in local councils
The Sindh cabinet approved reserved seats for transgender individuals in local councils, as well as reserved seats for women, youth, labor or farmers, non-Muslim members, people with disabilities, and transgender individuals.
These reserved seats were discussed at the request of the Sindh Local Government Minister
Three siblings killed in hut fire in Karachi
Three siblings died in a fire that broke out in a hut in Karachi, Pakistan. The children, aged 6, 5, and 7, were pronounced dead at the hospital after being transported there by rescuers.
The fire is believed to have been intentionally set, and the Sindh governor has requested a report on the incident from the Karachi commissioner.
