Woman dies of a heart attack during anti-encroachment drive
On Friday a woman named Jam Zadi died of a heart attack during an anti-encroachment drive in the Moosa Colony of Karachi. A mob of angry residents gathered and started pelting stones at the team carrying out the anti-encroachment drive following the tragedy. The operation was suspended shortly after.
Teacher suspended for sexually harassing minor students
A teacher at a government school in Okara has been arrested for sexually abusing his female students. Witnesses claim to have found the teacher performing unnatural acts with 5 minor students who had been stripped naked.
Young maid burnt alive
On Wednesday an accused named Dilbar Shah threw kerosene oil on his 14-year-old maid Sawera and burnt her alive. Sawera was later shifted to the hospital where she died of her injuries. According to reports Dilbar made sexual advances towards Sawera which she refused.
