Gujranwala man murders wife and four children

One Imran, a resident of Guranwala confessed to murdering his entire family by crushing their skulls with a blunt object, stated police on Thursday, January 21. The incident occured in Dogranwala in the jurisdiction of Cantonment police station and the bodies were discovered on Thursday morning.

In his statement to the police, Imran admitted that he murdered his wife for honour as well as his four children when they woke up and saw him in the midst of killing their mother.

‘PUBG killers’ nabbed by Lahore police

On Thursday, Lahore police confirmed the arrest of suspects Atta Ullah, Muhammad Naveed and Mussawar Iqbal for abducting, raping and killing a 13 year-old-boy a week back.

The victim, a resident of Pind Arrayan in Raiwind City of Lahore district, was reported missing on January 13 when he left home to visit a nearby market. His body turned up in Nankana Sahib two days later – an autopsy confirmed that he was raped before being murdered.

According to the investigation report, the three had befriended the victim on the online battle royale game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG). However, the boy eventually stopped interacting with them because of their repeated requests to meet them. On January 13, the accused abducted the boy and took him to Nankana Sahib where they gang-raped him before shooting him dead.

Lahore man arrested for repeatedly raping daughter

Lahore police on Thursday arrested of one Boota Masih for repeatedly raping his daughter over the course of two years. According to reports, the crime came to light when the accused’s wife walked in on him assaulting their daughter. However, Boota threatened his wife to dissuade her from reporting, even throwing boiling tea at her which gave her burn injuries. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
