Rape suspect gave in police custody
A court in Karachi has remanded a suspect in police custody who was arrested for the rape of a mentally-challenged woman. Police told the court the suspect and an alleged accomplice assaulted the 20-year-old victim in Tauheed Colony on Sept 15.

A new law on cards for child abuse, rape: PM
Three-tier legislation will be enacted for registration of sex offenders, enhancement of sentence for rape and child abuse, and effective policing. Prime Minister Imran Khan told parliament the bill being prepared would also provide for witness protection.
