ISLAMABAD

Rana Sanaullah believes that the All Parties Conference (APC) called by the Pakistan Bar Council has set the tone for the next APC called by the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz and hosted by the Pakistan People’s Party.

He paid homage to the late Asma Jahangir, Human rights activist and senior lawyer for always daring to say what needed to be said in people’s interest.

Contradicting the exclusive statement Shahid Khaqan Abbasi about Maryam Nawaz’s arrival to the APC on Sunday, he said PMLN’s delegation will be led by the party president Shehbaz Sharif and he will be accompanied by 6 other members but it was yet to be decided with Maryam Nawaz will be one of them.

PMLN lawmaker believes that Punjab’s silence towards the dissenting movements in other federating units of Pakistan should be termed as the “silence before the storm”. He further said that it will be a defining moment in the political scenario of Pakistan when Punjab wakes up.
