566 news cases, 9 deaths across the country

566 news cases and nine deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours across the country: NCOC
The number of COVID cases reached 310,841 and total deaths from the virus touched 6466 in the country.

Don’t reopen primary schools: Balochistan

The Balochistan will propose extending the reopening of the provincial primary schools from September 30 to October 15: govt spokesperson Liaquat Shahwani.
“Situation in the province alarming after 427 coronavirus infections were confirmed in the last 10 days”.

1pc infection rate in institutions: Minister

Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood has said that a one percent infection rate has been reported in the random testing of students at educational institutions.
He said the decision to reopen primary schools would be announced after the NCOC meeting on September 29.
