6 more died of COVID

The COVID pandemic has claimed six people’s lives across Pakistan in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 6408. Four people died in Sindh while two in Punjab passed away.

Schools sealed for SOPs’ violation in Sindh

Authorities have sealed several schools and colleges in Sindh for violation of SOPs imposed during the pandemic. Schools in Orangi Town and Kharadar in Karachi and several colleges in Hyderabad have been sealed for not observing SOPs.

Efforts to develop a system for vaccine distribution

With six frontrunners in the race to develop a vaccine for COVID, Pakistan has begun efforts to build a system to provide a vaccine across the country.
