Aqil on Aug 18, told police that he had offered the sacrifice for God. His brother, Mian Asad said that he had told police about the family being held hostages earlier. DIG Sukkur says police are investigating the case.
Teenager commits suicide
A 16 year old belonging to Ichhra, Lahore allegedly committed
suicide for being stopped by family from playing PUBG. Previously, another young boy, Shoaib had killed himself over the same online. His brother claimed that he was addicted to it.
IDPs protesting to harvest nut
IDPs from Shawal in N Waziristan, blocked a main road on Sunday to
be allowed to go back to their villages to harvest their pine nut crop. Protestors claim that the pine nut crop is ready but the authorities were not allowing them to go to Shawal to harvest it over security reasons.
Student activist released
Student rights activist, Sayed Muhammad was released on August 9 from district jail Kohat. He claims he was tortured by the police and kept in solitary confinement for 10 days. The student activist was arrested by the Counter Terrorism Department on July 27 for protesting the rise in terrorism and lack on internet in Parachinar.
