Zohra Shah Case

Couple accused of murdering eight-year-old maid Zohra Shah has offered her parents to settle the matter.

Rejecting the offer, the victim’s family said that they want justice in the case. They said that they sent their daughter for a better upbringing.

Fata University Facing Difficulties

Newly-established Fata University (Darra Adamkhel) is facing difficulties in running daily affairs due to legal loopholes created after completion of the VC’s tenure.

According to varsity officials, the staffers have not been paid salaries since April and the construction work has also been halted.

Death In Police Custody

In Bahawalpur, a protest was staged against the death of a man allegedly in police custody.

Victim Shehenshah’s family alleged that he was a police informer and had been tortured to death on providing ‘false information’.

Locust’s Attack Continues

Huge locust swarms continue to invade green fields and destroying standing crops, vegetables, and Mango orchards in South Punjab and rural Sindh.
