5 more deaths in Sindh
5 more died of COVID in Sindh while another death was reported from Islamabad. The COVID death toll rose to 2,430 in the province, according to CM Murad Ali Shah.
80 cases in Punjab
Punjab reported one death and 80 new cases in the last 24 hours.
Fatalities stood at 2,211 in Punjab while total cases reached 97,306 in the province.
Random testing in Punjab schools
Punjab government will randomly test students and teachers for COVID in educational institutions. Universities, colleges, and schools in the province will reopen in phases from September 15.
