District Headquarters Hospital Dir employees arrested during protest against non-payment of 2 months’ worth salaries. Police was summoned by the DAO, however they claimed protesters were arrested violating ban on gatherings.

Dismembered for Marriage of Free Will
Nauman Shahid of Chak 179-GB was abducted & dismembered by cousins of a girl he had contracted love marriage with. Victim admitted in Faisalabad’s Allied Hospital in critical condition, police on alert for absconded suspects.
