
Mapping COVID-19
Karachi begins the digital mapping of Coronavirus patients to
help identify more cases. Mapping will help in tracing the travel history of COVID-19 positive patients and their social contacts before they were tested.
Centre blamed
The federal government is not providing adequate assistance to cope with COVID-19: CM Balochistan Jam Kamal. NDMA & provinces did not provide required help in dealing with the pilgrims’ crisis at the Taftan border, Balochistan used its own resources.

Twin cities
The confirmed Coronavirus cases in the Islamabad rose to 51
after 5 more tested positive. 365 suspected cases in total. One more test positive in Pindi on Monday, total cases reach 54. 145 suspected patients returned from Tableeghi Jamat still at large
New prisoners
Newly admitted prisoners have kept in 14 days mandatory quarantine in jails away from old inmates as a preventive measure. Isolation wards and quarantine centers were established in 35 KP prisons earlier to protect over 11,000 inmates from COVID-19

Punjab government has approved treatment of critically ill COVID-19
patients with malaria drugs, chloroquine, and hydroxychloroquine 50,000 tablets of these medicines procured by Govt while Mayo Hospital staff had started to use it earlier like China and U.S.
