An FIR has been registered under Section 375-A of the Pakistan Penal Code at Kunjah Police Station following allegations of gang rape against two men in Kunjah.
According to the FIR dated February 1, 2026, the complainant, identified as ‘S’ and a resident of Kunjah, stated that on the night of January 31 at around 10:40 pm, two men — Waheed Saleem and Rana Aurangzeb — arrived at her house. The men allegedly knocked on her door and demanded money, claiming it was repayment of a loan.
The complainant stated in the FIR that despite her assurance that the money would be returned, the accused forced her to open the door. She further alleged that Rana Aurangzeb harassed her, after which Waheed Saleem also assaulted her. According to the FIR, both men fled the scene after committing the crime.
Local reports have claimed that both accused are affiliated with the Pakistan Muslim League–Quaid (PML-Q) and are considered influential in the area.
Sources further claim that despite the registration of the case, the police have so far failed to arrest the accused. The complainant has accused the police of facilitating the escape of the alleged perpetrators.
An investigation is currently underway.
