Girl escapes rape attempt in Lahore
10-year old girl successfully evades rape attempt in Civil Lines area on Tuesday. The young victim had visited her neighbor to borrow a mobile charger when the perpetrator, Rashid Mushtaq, tried to assault her.
Fortunately, she called for assistance, prompting nearby individuals to come to her aid. Authorities swiftly apprehended the suspect, and charges have been filed against him.
Another Woman Harassed in Karachi Streets Amidst Alarming Trend
Another woman was harassed on the streets near Madina Masjid in Block 17 of the Federal B Area, Karachi on Tuesday, adding to the city’s troubling trend of harassment against women. The incident occurred at 10:55 am when a man on a motorbike molested her while moving.
Despite her pleas for help, the perpetrator managed to escape, leaving onlookers unable to apprehend him. CCTV footage clearly shows the suspect involved. Similar cases were reported earlier in Gulistan-e-Jauhar and Orangi Town. While the police arrested a suspect in the Orangi Town incident, the harasser behind the Jauhar incident is still at large.
