Girl killed allegedly by maternal uncles in Batkhela city, Malakand district. Assistant Commissioner Shakil Khan stated that Farooq, Hammad, and Hafeezullah from Swat district entered their sister’s house and shot Kainat while she was getting engaged.
Her father, Ayaz, was injured in the incident. The uncles seemed unhappy about her engagement, leading to the tragic event. The accused were charged by Malakand Levies based on Jalal’s complaint, Ayaz’s son.
