Beggar Woman Allegedly Gang-Raped for 10 Days in Lodhran
A beggar woman in Lodhran, Punjab, was reportedly kidnapped and subjected to a 10-day gang rape by five individuals, three of whom have been arrested by the police. The survivor knew the main suspect, a motorcycle-rickshaw driver, as they used to beg together in rural areas daily. He abducted her during their usual routine and took her to a house in a nearby village.
After managing to escape, she informed her husband about the abduction and rape. Medical examination confirmed the gang rape. The police have arrested three suspects and are searching for the other two. The FIR has been updated to include the rape charges based on new evidence.
10-year-old boy molested in Islamabad
In Islamabad’s Sector G-7/3, a 10-year-old boy was molested by a neighboring vagrant named Imran alias Mani. The incident occurred when the boy was on his way to visit his elder uncle who lived on the same street.
Imran forcefully took the boy into his house, covered the boy’s mouth, and committed the assault. The victim’s father reported the incident to the Aabpara police, leading to Imran’s arrest under section 376 PPC.
FIA apprehends man for harassing woman in Hyderabad
The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime Circle in Hyderabad arrested Ghufran Ali on Monday for harassing a woman. Ali had been blackmailing the woman by sending inappropriate content via WhatsApp.
The agency recovered his cellphone and SIM card during the arrest. A case has been registered against him under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA).
