Man Kills Wife in Domestic Dispute
A man fatally shot his wife during a domestic dispute in Sakhi Nagar, Taxila. The victim, a 35-year-old woman, had been staying with her parents due to problems in their relationship.
On Sunday, while she was on her way to visit relatives, Sadeeq intercepted her at Sakhi Nagar Chowk and shot her in the head. She died instantly, and the suspect managed to escape. The police conducted an autopsy, released the body for burial, and initiated a search to apprehend the shooter.
Attempted Rape Thwarted in Lahore
The Sue Assal Chowki police have successfully arrested a man for attempting to rape an 8-year-old girl. The incident occurred when the victim was on her way to a tuition center and the accused, identified as Harrison, lured her into his house with the intention of assaulting her. However, the brave girl raised an alarm, causing the perpetrator to flee the scene.
Upon receiving a complaint from the victim’s father, the police have registered a case and apprehended the accused from Baduki village. He has been handed over to the Gender Cell for further legal proceedings.
