The incident took place on October 19, 2020, in Jam Dheri, resulting in the death of Shazia Bibi and attempted murder of two-year-old Sana Bibi. The court ruling, spanning 17 pages, found the accused guilty based on the prosecution’s evidence. Advocate Nehal Yousafzai represented the complainants pro bono due to their financial constraints.

Man allegedly tortured to death in capital for honor
A man was reportedly tortured and killed in the federal capital, indicating an honor-related crime, according to a police spokesperson. The victim, identified as Qamar Riaz, was found dead near Tirmazi Mosque on the greenbelt of double road in Sector G-11.
The police have arrested three suspects connected to the murder and are currently interrogating them. Initial investigations suggest that the man was murdered by relatives of a married woman with whom he had an illicit relationship.

Four-Year-Old Boy’s Body Found in Neighbor’s Water Tank
Body of four-year-old boy discovered in neighbor’s water tank. The child had been reported missing from G-13 on May 30.
After conducting a search operation, authorities located his body in the underground water tank of the neighboring residence. The boy’s family had recently arrived in Islamabad from Loralai.
The body has been sent to the hospital for postmortem examination, and the cause of death will be disclosed once the report is obtained. A suspect has been apprehended and is currently undergoing interrogation.
