Man’s Nose and Ear Cut Off in Chiniot as ‘Honour’ Attack
A man in Chiniot had his nose and ear cut off by five men who suspected him of being involved with their sister. Muhammad Jafar and his brother Nasir Abbas were attacked while cutting fodder on their land.
The attackers beat Nasir with rods, held him down, and one of them, Riaz, mutilated his nose and ear. They continued to physically assault him and later celebrated their actions by dancing over his injured body. Nasir was rescued by Jafar and other villagers and taken to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for treatment.
The Bhowana police have filed a case against the suspects, and one of them, Mukhtar, has been arrested.
Man dies from torture after alleged attempt to rape his own minor daughter
A man reportedly died on Sunday in Toba Tek Singh from injuries inflicted by his wife and son-in-law. They subjected him to severe torture after catching him in the act of attempting to rape his 15-year-old daughter.
The 55-year-old man, identified as Abid Ali, was already critically wounded when the police took him into custody. He was being transported to Gojra Tehsil Headquarters Hospital when he succumbed to his injuries. The wife and son-in-law have been arrested.
Reportedly, the wife informed the police that the man had been sexually assaulting their daughter in the past.
Woman found murdered in Karachi
A woman’s body, shot and killed, was discovered in a house in Orangi Town on Sunday. The body of a woman was found in a house in Frontier Colony, Orangi Town.
Police and rescue workers arrived at the scene after receiving the information and took the victim to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. The deceased woman has been identified as Shagufta, wife of Yar Muhammad.
Police are currently collecting information about the incident, and no case has been registered yet.
