Drug-addicted husband kills wife in Karachi
A man, believed to be a drug addict, allegedly shot and killed his wife in their home in Abdul Raheem Goth, Surjani Town on Tuesday.
The victim, 42-year-old Shahida, was found critically wounded and later pronounced dead at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
The couple had two married sons, while the husband was unemployed and frequently argued with his wife. During an argument on Tuesday, the husband, Jabal Khan, reportedly accused Shahida of wrongdoing and fired six shots at her before fleeing.
The suspect is currently being sought by police.
Two men sentenced to 7 years for attempted abduction of young girl in Quetta
Two men were sentenced to 7 years in prison and fined for attempting to abduct a young girl in Quetta.
Per the prosecution, the accused, Pervaiz and Abdullah, tried to abduct 9-year-old Gul Bushra near her home in Manzoor Shaheed on October 25, 2021.
Sessions Judge Saryab Jan Muhammad Gauhar handed down the verdict, imposing a fine of Rs. 100,000 along with the prison sentence.

Dhani Bakhsh Sarki alias Patni was found guilty of killing Mohammad Yousuf Sarki alias Suhno in the name of honor in Deen Garh village on March 20, 2012.
Additionally, a fine of Rs500,000 was imposed, and in case of default, an additional one-year imprisonment was ordered.
