Bodies of Two Missing Baloch Youths Found
The bodies of two missing Baloch youths, Sarang Marri and Waheed Zahri, have been found.
Sarang Marri had been missing for 28 days in Quetta, and his mutilated body was recovered from the Eastern Bypass.
Waheed Zahri had been missing for 35 days from Khuzdar Zohri and his body was found in the local mountains.
Investigation Launched into Allegations of Government Employees Forcing a Transgender to Dance for Ration in Gujranwala
A video of government employees forcing a transgender to dance in exchange for ration in Gujranwala has gone viral.
The Deputy Commissioner has ordered an investigation into the incident. The eunuch has claimed that the employees made him dance for the ration, but the in-charge of the government office denied the allegations and stated that the video is old and the dance was performed voluntarily by the employees.
13-Year-Old Maid Brutally Tortured by Two Police Officers and Their Sister in Lahore
A 13-year-old maid was brutally tortured by two police officers, Sub-Inspector Nadim Khalid and Sub-Inspector Akmal Khalid, and their sister, Afshan, in their South Cantt home on Thursday.
The victim, named Maryam, had been working as a maid for the accused for the past nine months. When Maryam’s parents came to visit her, the accused refused to let them see her.
This led to Maryam’s mother, Nasreen, raising an alarm. Upon entering the house, Maryam’s parents found her with severe burns. Maryam told her parents that Afshan and her brothers Nadim and Akmal had inflicted the injuries and set her on fire.
The police have yet to arrest the accused.
7-day Remand of Accused for Making Objectionable Video
A court in Multan has granted a 7-day physical remand to Zeeshan Ali, accused of abducting a girl, making her objectionable video, and extorting money, and ordered the interim bail of another accused in a separate case of threatening to kill a citizen.
The court also ordered the police to stop harassing a girl who is getting married of her own free will. A non-bailable arrest warrant was also issued in a drug recovery case and the accused must be arrested by January 31st.
A hearing on the interim bail of an accused who issued a bogus check was postponed till February 1st.
