Dua Zahra traced
The police have received a marriage certificate allegedly belonging to Dua Zahra, the 14-year-old girl who went missing from Karachi’s Al Falah area over a week ago. According to the marriage certificate, Dua Zahra has married Zaheer Ahmed, a resident of Sher Shah area of Lahore. Karachi police have handed it over to Lahore police. Dua’s age is 18 years on the marriage certificate while according to her parents, Dua is only 14 years old.
Case filed against 4 youth for practicing Ghag
KP police have registered a case against four persons on the complaint of a student studying at Mardan University. According to the FIR, the 4 men stormed the girl’s wedding ceremony and threatened everyone with dire consequences if anyone was to marry the girl. One of the accused is a former fiance of the girl.
Husband booked for murdering wife
Gojra police have registered a case against a man and his family for killing his wife. According to FIR, a woman named Saima Bibi was tortured by her husband Shahbaz and her in-laws and later poisoned. Saima was shifted to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
