Two burqa-clad boys arrested for harassing women
On Sunday, police officials stationed at the Greater Iqbal Park, housing the famed Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore found two ‘women’ behaving suspiciously. Upon investigation the officials found out that the women were in fact burqa-clad boys who were later identified as Subhan and Usman. The boys were immediately taken into custody and shifted to the Larri Ada police station.
Another honor killing
A man allegedly shot and killed his granddaughter and a boy in the vicinity of Fateh Jang police station in Taxila on Sunday morning, police said. The bodies of the deceased have been transferred to the Fatehjhang Tehsil Headquarter hospital for post-mortem.
Peshawar: Minor girl raped by two men
On Sunday, three men identified as Sawar Shahid, Hazrat Wali and Hamza, tricked a 14-year old girl into boarding a rickshaw with them in the confines of Peshawar’s Pahndu police station. The culprits later took the rikshaw to thye local Chairman’s office where they proceeded to gang-rape the girl. The boys were successful in fleeing the scene of the crime. The girl was later sent to the Women’s Police Station, where a formal investigation has kicked off.
