3,097 cases reported nationwide
A total of 3,097 new COVID cases along with 46 fatalities have been reported in the past 24 hours across the country. The total number of active cases reached 33, 869 while 2,284 patients have recovered from the virus in the same period.
20,000 KP health workers to get vaccine shot
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will first vaccinate 20,000 health workers for COVID as vaccine doses arrive in the province next month. Health officials said a request for 20,000 doses was sent to NCOC. Health workers in ICUs, EPI, Rescue-1122, lab technicians will get their first vaccine shot.
25 deaths in Punjab
In the past 24 hours, 25 people have succumbed to the COVID virus along with 767 new cases in Punjab. A total of 913 patients have recovered from the pandemic in the same period. The death tally reached 4,348 in the province.
Sindh reports 1,769 new cases
Sindh has reported 1,769 new cases as the pandemic claimed 14 more lives in the last 24 hours. The provincial death toll touched 3,744 while 897 patients remained under treatment at health facilities.
