An 11-year-old girl was gang-raped by two suspects in 5/GD village. Complaints have been lodged against the nominated suspects in all cases however there has been no word of any arrests as of yet.

Meanwhile in Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a five-year-old boy was raped by one Shahzeb in Pir Piai village on Monday, September 28.

According to reports, the boy was on his way home from a seminary when the accused dragged him into an abandoned building and sexually assaulted him. Shahzeb fled when the boy’s condition deteriorated, however, the rape survivor managed to make it home and inform his parents. He was taken to a hospital where doctors confirmed that the child had been raped – a sample from the victim has been sent to a laboratory for testing.

Azakhel police managed to arrest Shahzeb who confessed to the crime to a judicial magistrate. He has now been sent on a 14-day judicial remand to Mardan Central Jail.
