Broad testing does not always aid control: WHO
World Health Organisation has said broad-based testing of the population for COVID was not always useful. WHO epidemiologist Maria Van Kerkhove said people with symptoms should be the focus as quick results are critical for controlling the pandemic.
415 cases, 9 deaths reported in-country
About 415 new cases and nine deaths were reported in the country, taking the tally of COVID cases to 295,053. The deaths from the virus touched 6,283 and recoveries were at 279,937.
