Schools Open in Khyber

 Most private schools in the tribal district of Khyber have been reopened despite an official ban.

The students have also complained that there are no arrangements for hand washing either. 

 

Experts warn of the second wave

The health experts have warned of the second wave of the coronavirus in Punjab as SOPs are again being floated during Muharram.

The Punjab government decided to impose micro-smart lockdown in 17 areas of Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Gujranwala to prevent the spread of the disease

Provinces told to take Ulema on Board

The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) directs provinces to take religious scholars on board to implement SOPs during Muharram.

Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives warns the situation could aggravate if people violate the preventive measures. 

 

New Cases in Islamabad

The coronavirus curve has once again started showing an upward trend in Islamabad as the city reported21 news cases on Monday. 

According to a report released by DHO Islamabad, people between the ages of 31 and 45 remain highly susceptible to the disease.
