Policeman Kills Women in Sindh

Officer Ali Raza Yousufzai gunned down sisters Maria and Ashi Sheikh, and injured their aunt Parveen Sheikh, over a dispute in Tando Adam in Sindh. Yousafzai, who often visited the victims’ home, had become incensed over a yet to be determined matter and drew his gun on the 3 women. The sisters were killed on the spot while their aunt was wounded.

Police arrested the suspect and confiscated his weapon, and are investigating Yousafzai’s motive for the double-murder. Parveen Sheikh is currently undergoing treatment at a Hyderabad hospital, while the bodies of the two deceased were sent to Tando Adam Taluka Hospital for post-mortem before being handed over to the sisters’ relatives.

Youth Dismembered for Love Marriage

Two brothers have been arrested for dismembering a youth, Nauman Shahid of Chak 179-GB, for contracting love marriage with the suspects’ cousin, Sana Bibi.

Nauman had been lured to a children’s playground where the suspects, Muhammad Shahid and Muhammad Rizwan, chopped off Nauman’s limbs with the assistance of three others under the pretext of karo-kari. The suspects fled to Multan but were eventually traced through their cellphones by police and apprehended.

The police are currently on the hunt for accomplices while Nauman is battling for his life in Allied Hospital in Faisalabad.

Another Youth from Khairpur Killed for Honour

A young labourer, Pervez Sheikh, was slain under the pretext of karo-kari near Sobho Dero in district Khairpur, Sindh. The victim was a resident of Moro and was lured to Sobho Dero where he was killed. His body was recovered from a field with a deep laceration across the neck, according to local police.
