There are a lot of protests in Hong Kong because they’re not ready to give their freedoms up easily.” Mohammad Hanif talked with Munizae Jahangir on the protests for democratic rights in Hong Kong and then compared the attitudes of Pakistanis to that of the citizens of Hong Kong. Later, on the topic of missing persons, Hanif recalled how those who had been recovered refused to divulge what had happened to them due to the trauma. “What happened to me is something I don’t want to ever go through again,” one of the people he interviewed had said to him.
