A child protection court on Tuesday awarded life imprisonment and a total fine of Rs. 130,000 to a juvenile convicted of raping and murdering a four-year-old girl in Mardan in 2018. The judge observed that the maximum penalty of death could not be given under the Juvenile Justice System Act 2018
