A student leader who headed protests against a private university in Lahore for mandating in-person examinations has been picked up by police along with four other activists, the wife of one of the detained activists claimed on Thursday. Protesters are vehemently opposed to on-campus examinations, stating that as all classes were conducted online, so should exams. For now, the whereabouts of the detained activists are unknown.
