Speaking at the Asma Jahangir Conference 2022's session on population, activists and health specialists have recommended that designated female enumerators were required to collect census data on women, girls, and transgender persons to ensure their full representation in the country.
In the Asma Jahangir Conference 2022's session on transgender law, panelists held that the transgender community is entitled to all rights available to Pakistani citizens, including equality and protection against discrimination.

“This time people were lobbying that the Taliban had made a mistake and they would not repeat it again,” she said. “People who argue that the Taliban brought security and peace in Afghanistan, should not forget that the Taliban were the reason the region was insecure and under conflict and violating human rights. It’s graveyard security – no one should raise their voices.”
